SHAMEN R. DUGGER

Biography
For over ten years, Shamen Dugger has assisted a variety of public and private companies in navigating through complex income tax issues and securing significant tax savings. She is a recognized expert in combining the maximization of tax benefits with their financial statement, provision, and tax return impacts.

Shamen began her career in the Bay Area working as a state and local tax manager for PricewaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte & Touche. Shamen transferred to the San Jose federal tax practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers working as a Tax Director focused on FAS 109, return preparation, and various special projects such as research credit studies and IRC §§ 382/383 studies. She graduated from the University of California: Santa Barbara with a double major in Business Economics and Law & Society. She then earned her J.D. from University of the Pacific: McGeorge School of Law.

Shamen is a member of the California State Bar Association and licensed to practice law in California. She is also a licensed CPA in California. Shamen has been published in numerous renowned accounting and tax publications such as Journal of Accountancy, BNA, and California Tax Lawyer.
